Description
A good brush makes a huge difference to the quality and enjoyment of painting miniatures. Base brushes have a fuller body to hold more paint, making them ideal for applying smooth, even basecoats over larger areas such as armour, cloaks and vehicle panels. Layer brushes have a finer point for building up highlights, edge highlighting and painting details such as eyes, trims and markings.
The S Base brush is a versatile all-rounder for basecoating infantry, while the S and M Layer brushes cover detailed highlighting and general layering. The Army Painter starter option is a handy, affordable brush for newcomers getting started with their first models.
Look after your brushes by rinsing them often while painting, avoiding getting paint into the ferrule, and reshaping the tip before storing them. With care, a good brush will last for many projects.
Perfect for:
- Beginners putting together a first painting kit
- Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar painters
- Replacing worn-out brushes
