Protect your workspace and get cleaner cuts with the AK Interactive Scale Cutting Mat A4. This self-healing hobby cutting mat measures 300 x 220 mm and is made for model kits, miniatures, Warhammer assembly and general craft work.
What's Included
- 1 × AK Interactive A4 cutting mat (300 x 220 mm)
Description
The AK Interactive cutting mat is a five-layer recycled PVC mat, designed with environmental responsibility in mind. At 3mm thick, it combines two soft outer layers with a hard white inner core, giving a surface that is kind to your blades while still feeling firm and stable under the knife.
It is self-healing, so superficial cuts tend to close up over time, keeping the surface smooth for longer. The mat uses a neutral colour, so you can photograph your models on it with minimal colour cast from the background.
A particularly useful feature is the printed grid: each face carries the grid in a different shade, one lighter and one darker, so you can flip the mat to whichever side best suits your eyesight and lighting conditions. It is a practical, compact size for a desk or hobby station.
Perfect for:
- Assembling Warhammer and plastic model kits
- Scale modellers and diorama builders
- Miniature painters needing a tidy work area
- Photographing finished models
- General craft and cutting tasks
