Description
Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is a cooperative dungeon crawl for 1 to 4 players. Players share control of four heroes, battling through encounters to protect the Jade Abbey from a creeping plague of Nurgle's servants, including Blight Templars, Pestigors, Pox-Wretches and fearsome boss characters.
The heart of the game is a full narrative campaign played across three acts, with event, encounter and boss cards that keep each playthrough feeling fresh. Your progress can be paused between sessions, and new heroes unlock as the story unfolds. For a quicker game, Skirmish mode lets you play a single encounter.
Rather than tiles, Darkwater uses a lay-flat map book of double-sided hex maps, so setting up each battle is quick and easy. The highly detailed, push-fit Citadel miniatures need only clippers to assemble and are ready to paint if you want to bring your heroes to life.
