Description
Freeguild Fusiliers are disciplined gunners, trained to plant their heavy pavise shields in the ground and form a defensive line that is effectively a fortress battlement brought to the field. From this position, ranked Fusiliers unleash continuous volleys, their sturdy fusil-cannons belching hot death and drifting clouds of blackpowder smoke.
Each Fusilier carries a huge pavise shield on which they mount a bayonet-tipped fusil-cannon. One model can be built as a Fusil-Sergeant, armed with a brace of pistols or a triple-barrelled slaughter-fusil, and another as a Fusilier Herald carrying a standard and torch with a choice of icons and flames. The Blackpowder Squire runs up and down the firing line, supplying shot and powder wherever it is needed.
A superb ranged unit for any Cities of Sigmar army, and a great canvas for city colours and heraldry.
Perfect for:
- Cities of Sigmar players
- Fans of blackpowder gunlines
- Painters who love uniforms and heraldry
- Expanding an Order army
